San Francisco Misc!

You may notice both of Matt's hands are on the wheel... that's the fear of heights revealing itself.

For Toby

Driving down SF roads. Ever hear Bill Cosby talk about SF roads? There was a stop sign at the top of the hill, and then we got past the sign and went STRAIGHT down. This pic is just getting over the precipice. Again, fear of heights and SF didn't agree.

Round Table is sooo good! We gave everything left over to the homeless guy outside the door. You can see Matt taking the picture in the mirror!
Story- We needed directions to get to Round Table Pizza. We had an address, which should be all you need.... we asked a local (he bikes people around town). "What's the cross street?" Dunno. we have an address. "That's a long street. I can't do anything without the cross street." Oh, I miss Utah roads. State Street is a long street, what's the cross street? Oh, wait the ADDRESS TELLS ME!
The Bay Bridge Horrified my poor claustrophobic husband. Fear of heights didn't help either as we drove across it with five lanes of traffic driving above our heads.

Giant bow and arrow... it's ART, ALRIGHT? .... ok....

Random Rocket. It had a door and a plaque explaining itself, but we didn't stop

Chinatown. "Keep walking until you can't read the signs. That's Chinatown." says cable car driver

Oops. We fed the seagulls before we saw the sign saying not to.

The awesome painted dudes at Fisherman's Wharf

There's a sea lion's head there! We saw him while walking to an old battery by the Golden Gate

SF's Official Ice Cream.... the "Double Rainbow"... naturally. "Voted Best in America"... really?

Disneyland

Day one in Disneyland. The fireworks missed us. They ditched us due to wind.

The Buzz Lightyear ride was pretty cool. I liked the hologram head giant Buzz. With Matt's sunglasses all the holograms looked funky. There were blotches of color everywhere. Groovy.
Matt bought that ball and chain and Yes, he walked around Disneyland with it on. We have it in our apartment now. I think I was supposed to put my name on it or something.
Matt's whistling like R2D2.
We didn't wear our wedding rings on the trip. Just in case. Matt was wearing a steel ring on the wrong hand when Mickey was looking for the rings, he quickly switched it for the picture. :)
First picture we took. Cannon at Disneyland!
Jedi Training!!!

We saw Captain Eo and rode Space Mountain. Best parts of Disneyland (sorry Dissels... I liked California's Adventure much better than Disneyland. In fact, we got our pic with Mickey at Adventure. Space Mountain was awesome tho. They're also building a huge Star Wars adventures thing, we'll have to go back!)
Riding the train to get around Disneyland. It saved time and our feet (Thank you Jonathan!).... I lost my sunglasses on it... I take back all mocking statements I made about the warnings they gave to hold onto hats and such so they don't fall off the train. However, I don't feel so bad since Matt left his in the 'safe bag' on the Indiana Jones ride that was supposed to hold stuff so they won't fall off and get lost...
Toon Town. I love this door!
I AM NOT CRAZY!
Oooh! Look at those muscles!
This is Laurie. We stopped in a Scottish sword shop to check out the awesome armory. They had a book of names they had Coat of Arms for. Oooh! Shaw is Scottish. Hibbert is English and we got the two coat of arms printed together! It's awesome. Laurie gave us some marriage advice. Marriage is like a pendulum. We meet in the middle. She told us to stand still with our arms at our sides. Now- the husband's job is to protect and provide (Matt puts his arm around me) "see?" Now- the wife's job is to support the husband but let him make the final decisions. (My arm goes around him.) "See what your hand just did. That's how marriage works." She's awesome!

Cable Cars!

All manpower to turn the train and the cable car goes 9.5 mph... "only"
(they HAVE seen the hills in this town, haven't they?)

Alcatraz!

Ferry to Alcatraz!
Alcatraz has history as a military base, the west coast's 1st lighthouse and Indian protests before it was the infamous maximum security penitentiary.

Now Matt, I think you did that a little too well..... and Mickey looks especially mean there too!
The First woman to be held in Alcatraz!

Playing cards in D Row (isolation)
Old Military Fort!

Alcatraz showers
Oooh! Alcatraz Tommy Gun!

Hello everyone.

This is mine and Beka's new blog thingy. I find it a little ironic that the spell check program for this blog doesn't recognize blog as a word. It is underlined in red and is suggesting glob, bog, log, slog and biog instead of blog.

So I hope you like our new glob. We will try to update our bog regularly so that all those who subscribe to our log will not miss anything that is slog worthy. Enjoy the biog. :)

Life is good :) I love my wife and I'm so happy to be married to such a wonderful woman! We have been married for 12 day's now and it still feels like we're newlyweds. We are still in the process of moving in and getting everything organized in the apartment. The honeymoon rocked!!!!!!! I'm sure MY WIFE and I will upload pictures from the awesome vacation soon. I love calling her my wife :D It is so cool!! Okay, break is over. Back to physicsy stuff.
