A4 Built and Gone!

Matt's summer was dedicated to a math grant building A4 and solving a "mathematical folklore". Here's the finished product. He turned it in and is now working on a paper that will very possibly get published!
 This is A0. It's a dot.
 A1. It's a line.
 A2. You with me so far?
 A3. Three dimensions....

 A4!! Fourth dimensional represented in 3 dimensions. Those long half circle blue parts are actually supposed to be really short, but that would be the 4th dimensional bit. Here are a few angles.

 See the short blue lines connecting the A3s? That's how long the half circles are in the 4th dimension.
 IN case your head doesn't hurt yet, Matt painted 2D representations of A3 just to show the exaggerations to help get your head around A4. Cool, eh?
